Last month I wrote about my first Degustabox. I really enjoyed trying some new products, and theres a couple that I would definitely now look for again.
So let’s take a quick look at what was in the box this month. Not quite as many products as last month, and fewer brands that I recognised, but none the less a lot of interesting things!
- Drink me Chocolate Chai Latte
- Drink me Chai Tea Latte sachet
Two products from the Drink me Chai range – I’ve tried a cup of the chocolate, and it’s a lovely twist on a hot chocolate, full of delicate spices.
- Schwartz flavour shots – two types – Spanish Paella and Italian Herb Tagliatelle
These look interesting, blends of herbs and spices in sunflower oil, but they will have to be good to stop me using fresh alternatives and buy them again. An interesting concept though and good for midweek meals when short on time.
- Shaken Udder Milkshakes – one each of chocolate, strawberry and banana.
These are pretty good – the chocolate is particularly nice and I’d buy that again if I saw it. I’m yet to try the banana one, may turn this over to the other half as not my favourite flavour but I’m sure he will enjoy it for breakfast this week!!
- Moma Porridge Pots – two flavours, plain and Cranberry and Raisin.
Again these look really good to try. I don’t usually buy individual porridge pots as they usually turn out pretty expensive compared to a box of porridge oats, but sometimes it useful to have one or two in in case you need to eat on the run.
- Mexican Dave Tortilla Chips
- Tyrells Sweet and Salty Popcorn.
I wasn’t too keen on the chips – substandard dorritos, but am intrigued to try the popcorn, it sounds like a tasty snack, and Tyrells are doing more flavours too – the sticky toffee pudding one sounds great!!
- Organico Durham Wheat Pasta
- Organico Tomato and Basil Pasta Sauce
The last two products look very good quality. I’ve not tried Durham wheat pasta, so this will save me buying pasta for ages as it was a really big bag.
Again, a quality box full of stuff that is interesting and more importantly things that we will definitely use.
